ABOUT THE EVENT
How do we perceive this world with different senses? Can we understand a story with senses other than our sight? In this interactive experience, artists turned the auditorium into a “Paus–ight” environment, encouraging participants to see and feel the space with their noses and ears. The artists used short sounds as cues along with light, music, and smell in the space, guiding the participants to create visual memory fragments. The idea of “Paus–ight” came from the artist’s research on people with low vision. Through this service design activity, artists hoped to let people hear the voices and needs of low– vision groups, and encouraged people to re–recognize the connections between each sense. Artists invited participants to experience the activity in turn, to feel this unique environment created with sound and smell. After the activity, participants shared their experiences with others and discussed the related topics about sound, sense, and people with vision loss. About The Artists
