As the inaugural exhibition of the X Museum Triennial, How Do We Begin? Took the year 2020 as a point of entry to initiate a review of contemporary art and its relevant practices in this digital age.As an ongoing project, the closing of each Triennial marks the beginning of the new one—like the concept of iteration in mathematical engineering: the process of each feedback is repeated to approach the desired goal or outcome, and the result of each iteration is used as the initial value for the next one. At the end of the X Museum Triennial’s first edition, the museum hoped that this exhibition would provide an open minded and objective way of looking at what had been presented over the past few months. Looking forward to the second edition of X Museum Triennial, the guests shared their recent activities and practices.
