The X Museum presented an exciting screening series of Mexican contemporary film screenings for two consecutive days, from 13 to 14 November, 2021. The Mexican Contemporary Film Series was presented by the Mexican Embassy in China, with the academic support from the Centre for Mexican Studies of the National Autonomous University of Mexico at Beijing Foreign Studies University. The films are directed by notable Mexican women directors, representing Mexican society and folklore from delicate and diverse perspectives. We hope these Mexican stories can transcend the boundaries of the screen and convey the experiences of Mexican women to Chinese audiences in a humorous or serious manner.About The Artists
